# Release Notes
Apusic In-Memory Data Cache software (Apusic In-Memory Data Cache, abbreviated as AMDC) V2.0.6 is an enterprise-grade, high-performance distributed cache middleware that is fully compatible with the Redis protocol and development ecosystem, enabling seamless migration without modifying existing business applications. AMDC features core capabilities including high-performance millisecond-level response, high availability with multi-replica fault tolerance, and high scalability with elastic expansion, along with refined web-based visual management. It provides secure and reliable high-frequency data access support for critical business in high-concurrency and distributed scenarios, effectively reducing database pressure and improving overall system throughput.
# About This Version
AMDC V2.0.6 is compatible with Redis 8.6, supports hot update of authentication center authorization files, and the Web console provides core support for V2.0.3, V2.0.4, V2.0.5, and V2.0.6 versions.
# New Features and Enhancements
# Cache Core
Fully compatible with Redis 8.6, adapting to the features and security capabilities of the new version
Deep support for Chinese national cryptographic algorithms SM2/SM3, implementing full-link TLS encrypted communication based on Chinese cryptography to meet compliance requirements
The amdc-check-rdb tool has completed compatibility adaptation for RDB version 13, fully covering RDB files from all historical versions of AMDC and Redis, providing integrity verification and exception repair capabilities
Adapted to mainstream Redis ecosystem plugins: RedisBloom, RedisSearch, RedisJSON, RedisTimeSeries, Vector Sets, etc.
# Console
Comprehensively optimized and upgraded the console's interaction design and operation logic
Supports smooth migration of Redis/AMDC
Added support for V2.0.6 cache core features in the console
Three-role permission control as required by MLPS 2.0 (Multi-Level Protection Scheme), supporting multi-tenancy and user security policy configuration
Supports upgrade and rollback between different AMDC versions
Supports updating cluster topology status
Supports AOF (Append Only File) backup and restore
Supports the deployment mode that integrates with the authorization center
Supports viewing cache logs, and splitting and downloading large logs
Optimized monitoring metrics, supporting data analysis for AMDC
Full support for CLI + AI SKILL, enabling direct operations on AMDC in natural language
# Major Technical Changes
Added support for the Multi-Path TCP (MPTCP) protocol. In large-volume data transfer scenarios, overall transmission performance is improved by approximately 70% ~ 120% (compared with single-path TCP), greatly optimizing data transfer efficiency and stability for high-traffic, high-throughput workloads.
Newly designed and optimized console user interface, providing a more user-friendly operating experience.
